• I started my Taekwondo journey in 1990 at age 9. I trained with my 1st teacher for 3 years straight. Between 1993 and 1998 I did what any kid interested in martial arts would do. I watched plenty of martial arts films and idolized Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, and Jean Claude Van Damme. In 1998 my younger brother got the AYOP flyer from his school and funny enough he didn't want to go but, my mom gave me the flyer with some money to take classes with AYOP. I have many times visited and trained with almost all the instructors for several years to further my training. I later became an instructor in 2001 and have been with AYOP ever since.
