  • Sabumnim Pearl Eslava is a fourth-degree black belt under Matt Armstrong. She began her martial arts journey with AYOP in elementary school and continued throughout college. As an assistant instructor throughout her teenage years, Pearl found her passion for teaching and inspiring others. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a specialty in Exercise Science from San Diego State University. With 10 years of individual teaching experience, Pearl strives to lead classes that encourage students to develop respect, self-discipline, perseverance, and confidence- core values she gained through her martial arts journey. Her goal is to instill these traits in all future students.
